Write for Us

We welcome articles from teachers, tutors, subject experts and strong student writers. If you can explain a topic clearly enough that a 14-year-old understands it, we would like to hear from you.

Topics we are looking for

  • Science, biology, chemistry and physics explainers
  • History and geography: events, places and the “why” behind them
  • Mathematics concepts with worked examples
  • Technology and computing basics
  • Study skills backed by evidence: memory, focus, exam preparation and planning

Guidelines

  • Original, unpublished work only. We check for plagiarism.
  • Usually 1,200 to 2,500 words, written for students, with headings and examples.
  • Cite reliable sources for facts, figures and quotes.
  • No promotional content, paid links or links to essay-writing services.
  • We edit for accuracy, clarity and style, and follow our Editorial Policy.

How to pitch

  1. Send us two or three topic ideas, each with a one-paragraph outline.
  2. Tell us a little about yourself and include links to one or two pieces you have written.
  3. If a topic is a good fit, we will reply with a brief and a deadline.

Pitch through the contact form (choose “Write for us”) or email contact@studydiscover.com. We read every pitch but cannot reply to all of them. If you have not heard back in two weeks, the topic is not a fit right now.
